It reads at an average of 14.1v while on idle. From what I read, this is the norm.

Bringing this thread back from the dead. I am suffering from this exact issue. However, I have installed a new battery, new maf, new air filter, idler pulley, belts and cleaned the ICV...What's next? Fuel filter? Fuel pump? New ICV?

It was shooting a MAF code, but one I put in the new MAF, that went away and no new codes since.

stock intake or aftermarket? also, I would suggest having your adaptations reset after installing the new MAF. This was the solution to my stalling problem at lights.

Stock intake and stock filter. What do you mean reset adaptations? How can I go about this? Is this the throttle down and key in position 2?

you have to have access to GT1, INPA/EDIBAS or know someone that does. Or take it to your indy shop and tell them to reset your car's adaptations. From my minimal understanding it has something to do with your DME and fuel trim/air intake readings. did a quick search and found this. http://images.activeautowerke.com/pd...20E46%20M3.pdf

Damn. Didn't want to bring it any where. I was hoping to figure this one out on my own.
