you can order the Mirror (split) glass from your dealer after you get the car if you can't get it OEM... IIRC they were arond $75 ea.

Silverstone may or may not be available still.

I went through hell to get it, but ANY non-standard individual color may be approved one day then Rejected the next... BMW NA is just arbitrary!

Has anybody ordered an 06 with individual options? If so did you have any problems or was it a smooth process?

This depends on BWM NA's willingness to accept your order at the time the dealership calls them up.

It's usually a smooth process. They will tell you flat out yes or flat out no. There are a few options which won't be approved.

What are you looking to get? If we have specific examples it'd be easier to provide advice.

It is now available again on the Xer's so it may be possible to get one again... one never knows with NA.

Not sure what I want yet, I may go with a Individual exterior color, maybe a interior as well. I just remember it being kind of sketchy as far as BMW NA accepting the orders. Just curious if anybody has had success on a 06.

Weird question?...Is Alpine White the only White paint being offered by BMW? :nixweiss: I read someone posting Lotus White from another thread....Is this color available thru BMW Individual?
