tony- yes that's correct. if you do the rewire at this point you'll be fine (error light should NOT return).. at least they didnt for me.

[last week i had tried to get the dealer to do the lcm reprog for free, but no such luck, it ran me $50] :nixweiss:

You are correct sir. The reprogram to the LCM replaces the code for analog bulbs with code for the LED ones. The LCM is programmed for either the analog lights or the LED ones. If you already reprogrammed your LCM, then you need not do anything else. My re-wire guide simply sends "brake ON" power to the outer LEDs. Nothing more.

Cool. Sounds like a great mod and I've got nothing to lose. Can't wait to get the wiring done. Thanks!

If you followed my guide, you shouldn't have to cut any wires! :nixweiss:

after i did my LED's i took my car to BMW of riverside and those dickheads said they cant fix the bad bulb indicator lights because "a simple reflash wont do the trick.. i dont know what website u read that on, but its not true" .. lazy ****s.. but luckily when i bought my LED's vaheh sent me 2 extra left and right side wire kits.. so i will have the connectors when i do this mod.. then i will need to take it to a different dealer to have them turn these lights off.
