Any possible way you could implement that through this module?
Great question! The BlueBus also does this already

The "long press" event of the "talking head" button on the MFL triggers your voice assistant (Google / Siri) and plays her over the speakers as if she were a phone call so you can interact with her.

I am very interested. Will there be a step-by-step install video or instructions included if I order?

I will definitely be providing install instructions, but for the most part, it will be fully plug and play

Just found out about this project in another forum and have signed up. Any chance of an update at all?

Also wanted to say that I'm a professional product design so should you require any assistance with the housing for this project I'd be happy to assist FOC.

Adam.

Adam,

I appreciate the offer!

My family and I just finished moving across the U.S. and just got our belongings on Monday. Unfortunately, I was expecting to move in August of the year, not May, so I didn't originally account for that in my time tables.

Anyways, I need to review my the schematic for the Rev. C board as well as layout it onto the PCB. I hope to have this done late this week/early next week.

Thanks!
-Ted

Ted,

Got an E38 (non-VANOS M62, DSP w/o nav) and a E46 waiting on this.

Good to hear things are moving ahead! Much better to get some revs in now before you go into production. Hope you're able to settle into the house with the minimum of bother.

So, you have the MID? I need to finish dropping in support for it. I'm able to write the menus and the screen text as it stands, though, so all I need is a bit more logic to wrap around everything.

Absolutely! The Rev C board will go off to my beta users and once we validate that everything works well over the course of a couple of weeks, I will call it good and start taking actual orders so it can go to manufacture. This will allow another week of testing, more or less.

Moving was a small ordeal, but only because we drove 1,950 miles with a 16 month old and a dog in the cargo area
