But the vins match, and BOTH fenders were replaced from a parking lot accident? Thats dicey....
You are asking serious money in the e36 world for a car with minor rust and an unknown accident history with repair coverups.
You sound like an honest guy, but someone in the cars history wasn't. I feel for you. I was the recipient of a lovely head gasket half assed repair as a gift from my PO.

Like I said I wish I knew, the rust is only an $800 repair done RIGHT at a premier body shop. Title is clean, I genuenly believe that the fenders were replaced in that parking lot accident. But, like all used cars with accident history, there really isn't any way to truly know what happened. By the way I LOVE your build, have been following since I first joined the forum last year.

Appreciate it man. I think if you were to repair the rust it could be a good investment into getting you the money you want for the car. I think it’s easy for people to not stress about the fenders (just replace the one side marker to match the others colour) or not stress about a small rust repair, but the combination of both is holding it back a bit.
Just a piece of advice, and I’ll gladly delete if you like not to clutter up your FS thread.
Interior shows a car that’s been loved.

Replaced the amber side marker to clear today and as I suspected the P/O actually cut away at the metal to fit in the pre-lci side markers. Freaking unbelievable what people do to cars. Both fenders are original to the car with matching VINs however on the plus side.
