Default Yet another E46 M3 Track Build

I've been gutting the car to kick off my track conversion. Below are a couple of quick shots off my iphone so you can get an idea of where I am in the process. Also have removed the A/C and the EGR. I have a large order going in with bimmerworld over the next couple weeks and then my cage build will kick off during the first week of September.

Congrats on the build!!!! Look forward to following the build.

Have you taken the BMW CR school? Is that required?

I think it's possible to get approved without taking the school, but the approval is much more difficult.

WOW, you're really trying to make the Oct race?
Looks like you've done a lot!
What are you doing with your bar, now that you'll get a full cage?

Bar is sold. Posted it I. The for sale section a while ago. I would have also posted it in the southwest forum, but the forum Nazis previously infracted me for such a posting.

If the cage builder finishes on schedule--he's supposed to start the first week of September, then I should be good for October.

Update pics. More work done on dash and removing sound deadening material. Radiator, ac condenser and heater core also out.

Did you have a chance to weigh the interior parts that were removed?

Who's doing your cage..local shop?

Didn't take the time to weigh things. Cage will be done by a local shop.
