Why wouldn't they need to be wider? Camaro and Mustang have 305's and those are similar weight and HP.

E46 M3s routinely upsized to 275 rears, so I would think this fat pig should be 295, minimum

The 340i M-sport has 70 more lb/ft of torque than the E46 M3 and I never read a review where they complained that that the 340 was under tired.
