Default American Autobahn

So, I get angry daily and these so joyful Maryland drivers.

I wonder how many accidents and days it would take for people to use the left lane for passing only?

Oh and how long it would take America to know that the zipper effect on exiting and entering cities sucks.

haha, check out the ICC. Its the newest highway in this area and it is amazing!! There used to be alot of cops on it but not as much recently. Its perfectly smooth, nice long curves, tunnels and zero traffic.

Please stay out of the left lane unless you are wanting to pass.
Please stop ficking our cigarrett butts out of the window and hitting my car.
Please stop texting while driving.
Please drive at least 15MPH over (except in school zones)
On I95 south, please don't go anything under 100mph in the left lane.
Please use the zipper withe approaching vehicles as indicated.
Rant over

I often have day dreams of when they will say, "no speed limit on major highways and 50 in cities if not posted other wise and the left lane is for passing only"

after thousands of people had accidents and died, then people would go to the right

Cars will be driving themselves before people learn to drive in an acceptable manner. Only then will speed limits be raised and the thrill of going fast will be a spectator sport. Kinda like NASCAR, only tune in for the carnage.

ICC still littered with cops, but not at every crossover like it used to be. I drive like granny in the right lane when I go on the ICC. But damn I'd love to take the M or Duc and just blast the whole thing some day!! Reminds me of when they opened I-97 back in the day. It was like butter and no traffic as well!

I would assume the zipper effect is multiple on ramps joining into 1. Thus, the zipper effect.

It really is a problem in a lot of cities when they connect a south, east and west part of town onto 1 main highway. It's a really big issue here in Austin.
