Default Re: Bumper Decision - CSL or Euro w/Lip?

Yeah I'm leaning toward OEM euro bumper now. VRS pieces are quoted at 5-6 month lead time from Japan. Thats just crazy. The good thing about lips is that you can always add them on later.

Right now I cant justify OEM CSL for that kind of money.

Gablon, I'm really curious about your CSL piping solution. I'll be doing the same thing.

Oe csl

One piece lips on us spec bumpers are atrocious.
It screams ghetto-fab imo
Same thing for csl splitters on us spec bumpers
They dont line up with the bumpers lines and protrude in an ugly manner.

Nothing, only difference is reflectors.

Why not just have the shop fill in the reflector holes and have the bumper respray altogether?

Oem euro was pretty cheap years ago. Adding cost to fill in the holes and having slight risk of filler indent in the future on your original bumper made it worth to simply swap bumpers. Unfortunately I think euro bumpers have gone up in price

Because the price of a new US and euro bumper are exactly the same.

Hes talking about simply respraying and adding fillers on your current bumper.

Oh, didn't realized you need a whole new bumper.
