Estancia was actually my favorite even though it was the least expensive.

Kobalt probably needed more time.

Nice spot Jim! Envious.

I drank some lobster with this at home the other day.

Clearly harder to fuk up that wine than it was the lobster tails... I can’t even find the picture.

This was outstanding, but I didn't pick it out.
Served at a dinner at Bazaar Meats, Vegas.

Quick Google search saw quite a range of prices depending on year.

^^^I'm not as "up" on Napa as I am in Sonoma (thank you captain obvious) and had to look them up. They're the same people who bring us Quintessa, as seen earlier ITT, and FLowers, wines I'm somewhat familiar with (Sonoma Coast). Looks like a nice small-ish operation with interesting wines in limited production.

The 2016 Faust Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of our estate vineyards in Coombsville and Rutherford combined with mountain sourcing from vineyards in Atlas Peak, Mount Veeder and Howell Mountain. Fans of the 2015 Faust will love the 2016, with notes of dark chocolate, blue and black fruit, and dried herbs balanced by silky tannins and lifting acidity. Rated 90+ points or higher for the last five consecutive vintages.
Ugh, the price of Napa Cabs is the main reason I don't drink many (any) of them unless it's at a tasting or event. It sounds like a very nice bottle.

Good stuff.

I love red wine (Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Merlot, etc.) and this one had me literally jump out of my chair to flag the waiter so I could snap a photo after my first taste.

I'm really not willing to spend more than $25/ bottle (for consuming at home) though, any recommendations for wine similar to the family of wines you mentioned at that price point?

Beringer - Knights Valley Cabernet
Black label with silver letters. I posted that bottle on this thread before.
