did he warp the header by overheating? At the very least it seems there's a money shift in there. 48k doesn't seem too bad...

One small money shift on our e36 328 was $3000 in parts at wholesale cost. It took 3 of us (amateurs) 2 days to pull the engine and tear down the outside of it. Shipped the motor over to our mechanic who gives us the ultimate homeboy discount, and we still paid him $4k to completely tear it down, rebuild the top and bottom, then reinstall.

realistically, maybe he should quit bouncing off the rev limiter before shifting, he's wasting a lot of track that he could be accelerating on instead.
gear limited I have to assume? Stock M3 hits at least 180.

The exhaust manifolds are known to self destruct.

It's probably a half mile or mile event. A stock e46 M3 hits about 151 mph in the standing mile.

heard that the speedo will read up to 190, but accounting for BMW's overly ambitious speedometer accuracy, it's actually like 179.
