It looks like a few people who have bought these vents got around to installing them recently.

Have a look at this thread for some pictures: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showt...post1067542670

Just waiting to get through the financial madness that is Christmas...but I'd love to get a set soon.

Any plans to offer a vent in front of the hood bulge?

E36 vents are almost ready for prototyping and production! Will be making a separate thread for those once they're ready. Here's a sneak peak rendering. I will be test fitting these on an E36 this week. They're similar to the E46 vents, except they sit outside of the hood line.

The E46 center vents are currently in the design phase and will be available within the next week.

Do you have an estimated price for the center vents?

Not yet. I'm still trying to size them properly (and also make them not look tacky), and that will have a direct correlation to required material / machining time which will determine the price.

I will be offering a discount to those who bought the side vents. The center vents will be available as a standalone part as well.

Ok. I'll be getting the vents after Christmas. I just found out there is a wind tunnel near me. I'm trying to work a connection to see if I can get my car in there.

Kind of a long shot but it would be cool to see if I could do some testing with these vents.

That would be very cool! Would be interesting to visualize the flow and if they have load cells/scales there, you can see if there's a measurable difference in lift.
