Default 2002 M3 Convertible - Steel Gray/Imola - 6MT

2002 BMW M3 Convertible
VIN: WBSBR93472EX24333
Production Date: 05-08-2002
Color Code: Stahlgrau Metallic (400)
Trim Code: Teilleder W.N/Imolarot (N5IM)
Mileage: 62,0XX

Beautiful, well-maintained, factory 6 speed manual M3 Convertible example. 95% bone-stock with the exception of Eibach Lowering Springs, Armrest Delete, Brand New Perforated M3 Steering Wheel. Fully optioned with Factory Navigation, Style 67 18in Wheels, Cold Weather Package w/ Heated Seats, Ski Pass, Harmon Kardon Audio System, Retractable Headlight Washers, Power Seats with Lumbar Support + Driver Memory, Bi-Xenon Headlights. Black soft-top from factory is in excellent condition with no rips, wear marks or de-stitching of any kind. Car is in excellent shape inside and out! Interior is pretty much mint, 100% turn-key ready to enjoy for Spring/Summer.

Blackstone Labs Oil Analysis Report (included - as of 04/08/19):
“The first report for your M3 turned out great! Back in 2002, BMW was still using leaded bearings, so we're impressed to find lead at 0 ppm. Averages show 6 ppm is the norm for an S54. Aside from lead, other metals also tested favorably compared to universal averages, which are based on an oil run ~4,700 miles. If this oil run was anything similar, then it's safe to say the engine is getting along well. Fuel showed up, but, other than foiling a perfect score, 0.5% fuel is harmless. That amount is usually from cold sampling and the viscosity was still in 10W/60 range”

Carfax (included) is clean with no accidents throughout its life. Previous owner, had this vehicle for over 15 years. First owner had it for a mere 8 months. I am the 3rd owner on the Carfax, and the car currently resides in Northern Virginia just outside Washington D.C. Car comes with two sets of keys, and window sticker reproduction ($61k MSRP!). I have a binder of receipts from my ownership and BMW dealer print out of previous owner service records.

Now for the typical E46 M3 Q&A:
- Has rod bearing recall been done? – Yes, under warranty (2004)
- Airbag recalls been performed? – Yes, all under warranty (2013 Passenger Side and 2017 Driver Side)
- Has the Rear Subframe been Inspected/Reinforced: - Yes/No: Subframe was recently inspected as early as December 2018 and showed no signs of cracks. It is NOT reinforced.
- DME Control Module Recall – Yes, under warranty (2006)
- VANOS bulletproof – No, VANOS has not been upgraded/bulletproofed (to my knowledge)
- Clutch/Fly Wheel – Was actually completely replaced by previous owner at 60k by the stealership! (I have record of it)

Recent Maintenance; all within <1000 miles:
- Accessory Belt replacement (both A/C and Alternator/Water pump)
- Rear Differential Seal Leak Repair
- Power Steering Fluid – Flush/Fill
- Oil Service – LM 10w60

Cons
- Wheel curb rash
- Passenger seat bolster is starting to pull apart. I believe this is fairly typical on the vert seats. Very easy fix, just needs to be stitched back. Driver seat is starting to do this as well (see pictures)
- Driver armrest door trim has some scratches (see pictures)
- Front Bumper mesh grille has a crack in it, easy replacement
- Car has a lien on it. For some buyers this can be a ‘hassle’ but it would literally take 15 mins to head to bank together to sort out. Once paid in full, the lien is removed and the title released.

Yes same car. Bought it a few months ago. Not sure why it would be listed anywhere else. Priories have changed and I can’t keep the vehicle. Vehicle needed TLC and I have given it since I purchased it.

Thanks for your post
