IMO JB looks too plain. I was skeptical on even purchasing CB untill I saw how the metallic reflects under a streetlight at night. Then was I sold...

Would anyone be having this discussion if it were called carbon blue?

I realize, old thread is old

But, I've owned both and conclude that I prefer Jet Black.. It's just going to boil down to, do you like a metallic deep dark blue, or your traditional JET FRICKING BLACK lol cause damn is their black, BLACK!

I also will add that carbon black doesn't look very good on like halfazz overcast days.. It has the tendency to appear dull - HOWEVER on a bright chrisp blue cloudless sky day it is very good looking... Thing is Jet Black look good in any weather

Lol idk where I'm going with this maybe I'm just weird

A couple pics from my own cars
My JET black with the Apexs on

Here is my old carbon black and since it's harder to capture I will include a few pics

At night lighting one kinda wAy

Carbon Black is a misnomer, it's not black, it is blue and really should be called carbon blue. You have to decide whether you like a black or a blue car.

I love carbon black, because the colour morphs around based on lighting. Unless it is in bright sunlight, it looks blackish most of the time.

Carbon Black... I mean Carbon Blue with Matte Black wheels:

I like both colors. But I'm planning to pick up a new car in the next 6-12 months and jet black with gold wheels might be my goal:

That car is perfect. Anyone know who it belongs too?

How rare is cinnamon interior on jet black cars? I dont want black on black.

^^ You don't want Black/Cinn. The Cinn pops out too much against the non-metallic paint. It looks very off. It looks like a Spalding basketball... really. If you want a Jet Black, get Imola interior. Wrap the trim in 3M CF (Black/Red whip).
