I had some road rash chips on my CB right in front of the rear wheels. Basically 4 years of driving daily wear. It wasn't super bad, but it was noticeable when you walked up to the car and looked at it in the light. Anyway, I don't have Dr Colorchip but I do have some CB touchup paint from the dealership and the Lanka (Mothers) paint blob remover stuff.

I smeared a bunch of CB touchup paint all over the area, let it dry for about 5 min, then wiped off all all the excess with a cloth and the Mothers removed. Took about 10 min to clear it all off, but it looks waaaaay better and you can't see it unless you're up close and looking for it.

I just received my Carbon Black touchup kit. I had some nasty road rash on front quarter panel right on the wheel arch and it took almost all of it away. I was skeptical at first smearing paint all over the car but in the end.. AMAZING!! I forgot to take pictures this morning as I was excited to try it but I'll be outside later today and I'll do some before and after shots up close. Pictures to come!...

Carbon Black - used Colorchip on front bumper. Worked pretty well - not amazing, but definitely worth the $50 or whatever. Probably ordering another sample. I'll post pictures up tomorrow - leaving for a meeting right now.

Anyone know how I can use this to fix the random rock chips on the actual hood? I have these assorted little white specs (not all in the same area) - should I smear the paint all over the hood or go fine - toothpick style filling each individual white speck?

I used it on my carbon black quite some time back. It works great on small to medium stuff. If you have really big or deep you'll need to fill it in with paint and let it dry multiple times. Just buy it it is only like $70. I am very anal about my car and it exceeded my expectations.
