Default oem csl bootlid trunk diy install

in tribute to all the awesome detail writeups mikymu does.. i have decided to honor his style with an oem csl bootlid trunk diy install (try to cover all the key words for search) ..

i wont be finished for a couple of days..so bare with me..
but here are some pics from the beginning.

i took some key pictures of items that i may not remember how they went back on exactly..

my prediction is the hardest thing about this is going to be getting the trunk to align right with the fenders.. we will see

little hidden screws.. i thought this was very slick.. hold the tool kit to the trunk..

wire for the escape handle

wire to the key lock activated by the button on the drivers side footwell

everything on your new oem csl bootlid should be plug and play.. except for the black cylinder cover and escape latch. the oem csl bootlid does not support cylinder cover so leave it off. also.. for the escach latch cable, you wont be able to feed it through. just let it hang on the outside. also the clip for it is too small for the csl bootlid.. u can try to pry it open and reuse it.. or just simply let it hang under the trunk liner
