The BB41-In house is down to $3,100 on SS bracelet.
Have you checked watchrecon? https://www.watchrecon.com/?query=tudor+79230n

You can find them on SS bracelets for 2400-2500, and itís probaly going to drop after Baselworld

It depends on the warranty card. Try to find one that was recently bought and the warranty will transfer over. The good news is that these movements are basically Rolex movements and they are bulletproof.

Just make sure you buy one that has the warranty card filled out with the information of an Authorized Dealer (AD).

Re: workhorse

Thatís why I prefer the 41 in-house or BB58.

Though the ETA 2824 is a workhorse as well..... Iím still wearing my Steinhart daily and itís now 7 years old without a single service.

I plan on sending it in for one soon and to get it polished / new bracelet clasp. No idea how long it takes but the email instructions were like 3 pages long lol.

I have an Orient Bambino (new pickup) to tie me over. I got it in rose gold and itís pretty damn nice for the dirt cheap price - wish I got yellow gold though since I wear a lot of black stuff that has brass hardware. (Belt, shoes, and leather jacket)

The ETA is also a workhouse and any competent watch maker can do the maintenance on it. The only problem with the new in-house movements is the cost of parts + maintenance cost from Rolex.

But yeah you should get the BB58 or the 79230N.

Just as a heads up, a service from Steinhart is estimated at around $300, via some forums I was browsing last night.

Thatís pretty crazy, but I guess for an ETA 2824 service thatís about standard from a manufacturer.

I just ordered a new OE bracelet (for $46), some new OE end links ($12), and a new bezel with lume pip ($15; not sure if Iím going to replace that now or leave the patina).

Iíll have a local watch maker clean and lube the ETA movement..... and polish the watch case to match the new bits.

Will be like a new watch afterwords, well under $300, and I wonít have to ship it back to Germany and wait.

If it’s for the ETA you can take it pretty much anywhere, i’d do a quick yelp search.
