Wolfe - A Singer is cool and all for a resto-mod sled, but an original matching numbers car is where it's at. Break out the gold Krugerands you got squirreled away underneath your mattress and get this straight away... That is a 1994 Turbo S, which is rarer than hen's teeth. Barely over 6,000 miles on the clock; hell, the engine is not even broke-in yet

As cool as that is, I will save it for someone who likes to collect cars. I want a car that I can mod, put miles on etc. without feeling bad about it.

You gotta take the plunge soon man.

You’re becoming one of those women who “couldn’t find a guy that was up to her standards” and now she’s 40 and lives alone with 5 cats.

Wolfe, ya know the early 964s suffered from oil weeping between the jug and block, because Porsche did not include an O ring to improve that seal for fear of the O ring would interfere with heat transfer from the jug to the block. Next, the early double distributor belt suffered somethings called "ozone" which caused the belt to break, and only one of the two spark plugs would fire, which causes problems in the combustion chamber. Porsche remedied this by producing a vented distributor cap to eliminate the ozone issue. Then there is the dual plate (mass) flywheel with the rubber center that breaks apart over time, which then sends rubber pieces in every direction in the bell housing. The flywheel becomes screwed then the clutch face becomes contaminated also. These are some of the major issues with the 964. Happy hunting Wolfe!
