Default Bad tank of gas?

I've been struggling with an intermittent multiple cylinder misfire that the mechanics have been having trouble with diagnosing. Shortly after filling up at the local Citgo, I was driving down the highway, the check engine light came on and I had rough acceleration. The car also seems to idle rough and it's died a few times on startup. The problem is so intermittent that the dealer couldn't get it to duplicate. The first mechanic I took it to thought it was a vacuum problem and replaced the vent tubes and vent valve by the intake manifold. That didn't fix the problem. So then I brought it to the dealer and they swapped the wiring harness that connects all of the coils. I'm still having the problem.

I've also tried putting Iso Heet in the tank just in case there was some water in there. Is it possible that I have a bad tank of gas? I don't know what else would cause a misfire on all cylinders so intermittently. Has anyone had this happen to them before? How did you fix it...did you have to purge the fuel system? Or will it go away after I fill up with a fresh tank of gas?

I read that there was a problem with bad gas up in Wisconsin last year. Something about sulfate salts fouling the fuel injectors...
