Default Brand new recall - January 2020 - Yet Another Airbag Recall

Stumbled upon this recall while seeing reports of a new one. It's true. Everyone will get to make another fun trip to the dealer.

Thanks for the headsup. I just checked my VIN and it looks like I do indeed need it on my 03 M3.

As far as I can see it only applies to some E46 models made between 1999-2001. If anyone knows different let us know. Checked with BMW UK and no new recall required on my car. Ive had both previous airbag recalls done.

Mine is an 02 and the BMW VIN recall checker says I need it.

Just plugged my VIN in and this recall came up for mine too. Apparently the first recall was a "temporary" fix and this is the "permanent" fix.
