The Nissan Frontier is also another Dinosaur that's still for sale and sells decently enough
Itís widely known that Nissan is in a bit of a pickle right now. About company direction, this fella below....

... Carlos Ghosn, Nissanís former top executive, fled Japan while under bail, hid in a large box, and is now in the country of his birth, that being Lebanon; he was held for financial misdeeds. This *might* be a contributing to Nissanís current state of affairs.

Yup. I've always wondered why Honda didn't just keep producing the S2000 to this day, it would still be selling better than the Z. I know I would rather buy a new S2000 over a BRZ as well.

Same here though I did choose my 350z over the s2000. I read that Honda is building a custom updated s2000. But just one to celebrate the anniversary of the car .

This is the only Nissan that comes to mind that I really want, and better yet, the Nismo modified car of the same.

enthusiasts never stopped liking S2000s, but new car buyers stopped buying them

according to wiki, looks like they sold less than 800 S2000s in the last production year for the US. compared to the 350z which never dropped below 10,000 units per year in the US for it's production run. the worst year for the 370z appears to be last year (2019) at 2834 units

I'm sure the s2000 would've sold a lot more if Honda had offered a automatic option . But I'm sure they new that.

they would have sold more but not 9000 more, not even close. 350z is much more practical for most people than a convertible roadster.

A new S2000 would be $50k now, though.
