Thank god the forum is back up so I can ask a simple question that I can't quite get clarification on (searched forum's, contacted Kassel etc.) Is there any reason that the TTFS rail (and Karbonius airbox) with the MAP sensor would not work with their conversion kit harness? I am mainly interested in the harness for a "simple and clean" install. I know I could just do it myself, but hey, looks like someone might have already done it for me. Any input is appreciated.

Side note: They also offer MSS54 to MSS54HP conversion, but I have no idea whether that canned conversion would throw a bunch of codes on a 6MT with no other modifications. Anyone been this route? Otherwise I was thinking of contacting Paul Claude.

Thank You.

^The Kassel MAP kit is basically the NZ M3 updated sensor ... look up his thread. You can plug that (Bosch I believe) sensor into the CSL or TTFS rail with a different o-ring and then could use the Kassel harness, but at that point you might as well make your own. You’re paying for the little aluminum piece that plugs into the air rail. The sensor and harness parts are dirt cheap.

I did the Kassel MSS54HP H-bridge conversion so that I could use the flap and the flash that came on it worked fine for my 05 6MT. It will start and run fine but you should contact PC anyway to get a version that’s dialed in for stock US/Euro cams.

Default Comprehensive CSL Intake Thread

So...Iím a tad confused here. I know I have to get my MSS54 converted to a MSS54HP. I pulled the DME from my car ten seconds ago and it appears I have a MSS54HP. So the question becomes, do I still need to send it off to be reflashed with the CSL software or can I just flash the CSL software onto the current DME myself? I have a stock US M3. Iím trying to make this easiest on myself. I am planning to send it off to PC but I donít know if that is necessary? I apologize for the simple question but Iíll admit software and electronics is not my forte in the car servicing game.

Does anyone know what Bar the TTFS rail comes with. There are no markings on it and I can't reach anyone there. Thank you.

I finally got my Karbonius box installed this past weekend.

However, I got this error message. Anyone have an idea what's causing it? I've already double checked the wiring (first tried Turner's IAT relocation harness.
Then I tapped into #1 and #3 wire at MAF connector directly) and made sure my tune (Kassel) is scaled for OE type IAT sensor (Beru). Bad sensor maybe?

If you can check with INPA's live readout, are you usually getting the correct IAT temp?
