Still cannot get Bluetooth to stream without error. Sounds like when you walk away too far from the phone and your earbuds start tapping out. I'm gonna get a hold of tommy and see what's up.

Edit. Also cannot get it to communicate with ibus, not sure why.
For ibus I didn't have the usb plugged in from the main harness. That should fix that.
Also my Samsung Bluetooth seems to work ok, my lgv20 does not.

Did you update the APK? Also Avin has an update that fixes that. Email them for it.

No hissing that I can remember. Ask them for the update, may fix some issues.
Also, how did you plug in your unit? Is it a custom harness or one they supplied?

One that they supplies with the 6m long harness. And i have a couple of antenna left there. Theres an antenna ehere i removed the green part so i can hook it up at the back of the radio (radio antenna)

Did the CSL have any special coding for this since it was available without a radio?

Sorry being late to the party here... Im curious if this has been discussed here or any of the other Avin threads. One of the "issues" on the older unit was volume. I would max the unit out and sound was very low still. Any idea if this newer unit resolves that? I know its still early, but any quirks found etc?

If anything it's too loud. Depending on what's playing I keep the volume anywhere between 8 and 12 (out of 100 I think)

European cars in general can remove the radio option code and have everything work. US cars default to having a radio even if all option codes are removed, so diagnostic software will still look for it.

Any reason to not tweak the VO to be a European car to have ours act that way?

More trouble than it's worth. It only makes a difference when hooking up to dealership diagnostic / programming software, which isn't an issue for most of us.

If a European VO is present, and the dealership software wants to recode module(s) to default, then it'll go to the European defaults (metric units, german language, european lighting settings, and so on).

Got it, there is a standby timer setting in the options menu. It is probably on 0.

Sorry OP. This thread took a life of its own, hope you don't mind.
