Agreed - by far one of the best combos. I wouldn't change a thing about that car.

2003.0 Carbon Black, Black. 84,000 Miles w/ e92 ZCP wheels and a partial re-spray.

Located in Toronto, Canada.
It's hilarious to me how obvious these photos make it that the e92 zcp wheels just aren't for the e46.. they made the e46 zcp/csls for a reason

I have a love hate relationship with apline white. I love the color but hate the body panel lines become sooo distinctive. Like the diffuser and trunk stick out like a sore thumb to me.

I grew up in the town next to where that Alpine White one is being sold, very tempting.

Makes me feel good about my recent purchase!

Picked up the exact same spec car, Alpine/Black 6spd with 58k! Love the color. That car is already past what I paid for mine.

I've got an AW car, I understand where you are coming from. After owning the car for a bit, I get why people put CSL parts on the back of it, because the glued on lip on the trunk and the way the exhaust juts out of the stock bumper valance makes it look like BMW's stylist didn't quite finish the job with it, like these things where sort of just tacked on. While I'm not sure I'm quite sold on the CSL trunk and diffusers styling overall, they definitely look more cohesive then the stock styling.

Another styling thing with an AW car is the sunroof. I've got one, and not only does it rob me of the headroom I really need, it also really sticks out against the white, and not necessarily in a good way. If I can ever work up the courage to rip my factory roof off, I'd definitely consider an E92 style carbon roof four a quadruple threat of more headroom, less weight, possible better chassis stiffness, and improved looks. For now, I have a 3M gloss black vinyl wrap on the roof. I'm not usually a fan of wraps, but it does make the sunroof "fit" into car much better in this instance IMO.

Oh, and my car has bumper sag that isn't bad enough to be worth fixing, but is bad enough that I can easily notice it against the white paint. That all said... while originally I wanted an IB car, the white has grown on me a lot. It might even be tied with IB for me now as far as non-Individual colors go.

OH definitely - I don't generally like white cars for precisely that reason - the body doesn't flow from panel to panel. Same thing with silver. This is partly why black (and darker colors) is the best - zero panel gaps.

Miss my Jet Black car already - what a beauty. That said, a mint, stock AW E46 M3 with OEM 19s is a thing of beauty, black interior by far the best.

What do you mean? I think they look great on the car. Almost arc8-ish.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2003-bmw-m3-coupe-28/

Reserve was not met on this 2003 Coupe Carbon Black on Black, 6 Speed

Bidding stopped at $15,400 USD

Looks like some bidder forgot about the auction ending and are asking for a private sale.
