I'm about to tackle a belt replacement job as mine are all cracked up from age.

You folks think it is worth while to replace the tensioners while I have everything open? Or no real need? 2005 54K (yeah for real) miles

Yes. Both tensioners and the idler at the least.

My vanos has an exhaust hub tab sheered off and my car only has 58,000 miles on it. Y'all weren't lying!!

Recently found and replaced this on an m3. I would like to remind you to check the fittings on your oil cooler lines at least yearly. Car had 170k kms.

I replaced mine after 140k miles. Looked fine, no signs of failure. I received a free racing replacement and felt wrong throwing away a perfectly good part.

Are there any reputable and GOOD service shops in Philadelphia? Seems like my only option is VAC Motorsports but they seem to be horrible based on prior reviews...

Bimmerworks in west chester, PA.

VAC is, indeed, garbage.

Much appreciated! I'm due for a valve adjustment and I am no way going back there... They couldn't even change my corner bulb for me without breaking my headlight tab!
