This. 100%.

Thinking about e39 m5 chrome shadow finish. Would offset the silver nicely. Ever seen a picture of that?

I had the M-Pars on my old wagon powder coated Porsche Silver with a clear coat.

Not the M3s Style 67s, but they are 18s.

My wagon was TiAg too so I have a ton more pics if you wanted to see.

These are my 18s
When I bought the car the factory finish was peeling and horrible.
I had them stripped and re powdercoated, my goal was something low cost/durable/ not offensive looking. I think it came out ok.

Mercury Silver from Volk would look nice.

You may want to look at a place called Wheel Collision Center in Bath, PA.
I had some wheels for my E36 M3 refurbished there. Not cheap, but they did a good job.
10/10 would recommend.
They have just about every stock BMW wheel there is.

With how detail conscious this forum is I find it hard to believe more people aren't screaming about powdercoating wheels being bad, and it is. It weakens the metal, forged wheels included. The extra heat cycle makes the metal a little more brittle and thusly more prone to failures.

Feel free to do some research on this but you are likely find the same info. I clicked around as well spent some time on the phone with Mackin, they advised against powdercoating wheels. For those who aren't aware, Volk (RAYS) paints their wheels. I don't know about anyone else, but weakening wheels is NOT the business I want to be in.

Everyone is, of course, free to do as they please but I hope this makes someone think before doing so. Paint IS an option and in this scenario, I feel its not just worth considering, but the only way to go solely in the interest of safety. That or buying new wheels outright.

not only that but it's much more difficult to inspect the wheel for cracks if it's powdercoated
