I picked up this General tool cabinet for $999. It is massive and seems well made. I'm impressed with it. The only draw back is that the release lever for the drawers is only on the right hand side of the drawer. Seems odd but otherwise I think it is a good deal. I looked at others in this size and price range and this one seems the most well made.

You did well! Those HF boxes are impossible to beat quality wise at that price point. I have the 44" lower box and it has been great.

Yeah, as much as I otherwise dislike Harbor Freight, those US General tool boxes can't be beat until you substantially up the price point.
