You asked a question and got an answer. And a good answer at that.

Look good and sound good = MAF-less CSL intake. There are other options if you really want to keep that sweet MAF though.

Not to mention we are on our fourth development prototype, (and arround the 30th for the trumpets) each one is telling us what we need to tinker with to make the next one better. We are almost there now... Now if we cannot set up to mass produce and we show a working prototype exactly what happened with the bumpers will happen again. Instead of taking 2 months, the orders will take 6 months. Why would I go that route again?

Here is some of the prototyping we did in this video, there is more elsewhere which I have shown in previous posts:

Streamline CSL BOOTLID Fitment - A walk arround the Studio - YouTube

At the end of the day, the people who believe in us and want an airbox from us, will still order one - even if we took more time to develop it - because that will mean it is a higher quality item as more attention was spent on it. Even if I sell 20 airboxes, I am happy, if these people are content with thier item. I cannot satisfy every single client and every single timeframe. And I wount rush a product to market... that just wount happen... again (bumpers).

I will also not release a final prototype before I am confident I can replicate that item at least 10 times in a row. To do that i need the molds to be fully finished. The people who are eager for this product and supporters of Streamline are the people I am targeting first. They will understand us working at that pace. The ones who want things to happen quicker, and have a timeline in mind - better go with Karbonius, as I said - they make the highest quality items I have seen on the market so far. In short, when ours is done, and I love it, and I can surely replicate it - it will be released.

- Antony
Weren't you going to do a bunch of testing on the dyno etc ? If I was me I would have worked out the shape first by building a prototype ( doesn't need to cf) get the features and position of everything nailed Down then once that is perfected develop the moulds. Less chance of screwing something up and not realising until 8 months down the track

Hello Streamline ! Do you guys have an approximate idea as to when you will have the boxes ready to go? I sold my old intake setup a few months ago expecting this group buy to be rolling by now..

Track season is coming up fast, and I don't plan on running the OEM setup Ive been putting up with. I've been a huge advocate for you guys, I'd hate to have to jump ship and go with a karbonius because I've run out of time/patience.

Agree w/ SQ13. This is a development thread. The cool part is you get to watch a product being created from start to finish. That also means that you can't just click and buy an airbox today. Look at the prototype mold—progress has been made, but a finished, tested product is a long way off.

Karbonius has been fulfilling orders in the current GB pretty fast. They went through something similar to this years ago, and now have their process and product dialed in. I think Streamline will get there, but this is the beginning of development for this product.
