Default valve adjustment - turn engine

Do you turn clockwise or counter-clockwise to rotate the cam? I thought clockwise but read it somewhere saying counter-clockwise. Can someone clarify?

it makes no diff. Just use the fan nut and turn it CW so the nut doesn't loosen. Be sure to loosen all six plugs
