Default INTRODUCING - the CPI Euro Style Section 1

Fresh of the fabrication jig - the first CPI Euro Style Section 1. This one has 200 cell cats, but 400 cell cats will also be available. Essentailly, this is a OE section 1 modified with the 200 of 400 cell Magnaflow cats.

CPI Euro Style Section 1 (w/200 cell cats)

This is a fairly straight forward modification except for the O2 bungs. The O2 bungs can not just be welded to the side of the cat because of the close clearances under the car in the area where the cats will be located. So, I had to fabricate a O2 stand-off so that the O2 sensor would line-up parallel with the pipe (like the SS Euro section 1 shown below) and be clear of the underbody of the car.

Supersprint Euro Section 1

The CPI Euro Style Section 1 is available now. The only thing needed is a OE section 1 (and there are plenty of these laying around). I plan to offer the CPI Euro Style Section 1 for $575 (shipped) with either the 200 or 400 cell cats. For those that are interested, you need only send me an OE section 1 - I'll take care of the rest.

It is for use with after market headers which can give a 15 to 20hp gain. To eliminate the rasp, you need a Rasp Terminator. CLICK HERE to check it out.

If i fail the emissions,i'll be a customer(running cat-less at the moment).
Looks like a nice and priceworthy alternative, compared to some other stuff out there

hey J, will either of the cats make the exhaust smell clean enough? NOt for smog purposes, but just so I can drive without smelling it at every stop? I m running JVT's and man the smell is so bad.

Yes - the cats (in particular the 400 cell) will clean up the smell considerable.

If you are looking for a section 1 pipe with cats and a resonator, we have your answer already - the CRT (catted Rasp Terminator) also available in 200 or 400 cell cats. CLICK HERE to check it out.

On the CPI Euro, the distance between the cat and the flange is only 6-inches. A 6-inch resonator (if one exists) would actually only have about 4-inches of resonator once you account for the in/out pipes and therefore, would do little for killing the rasp.
