If your gas mileage is that high, you're only using maybe 150-200HP.

https://www.thedrive.com/news/31692/...-set-of-brakes

175,000 mile i3 still going on the original brakes.

Certainly a low maintenance car

quick fly by here..

I had an i3 rental for a few days from my local indy while my X5 was in for servicing. I can't possibly imagine that a better commuter car exists anywhere on the planet.

Key takeaways:

1) super fun to drive (pretty certain you'll never miss a yellow light with the instant tq)
2) very low stress in traffic (my drive is 25 miles each way but takes an hour. The off throttle regen/braking of the i3 DRASTICALLY decreases the gasbrakegasbrakegasbrakegasbrake of bumper to bumper traffic.
3) I realize this is subjective, but I really think it's cool looking
4) put my kids car seat in the back and took him to school. No issues at all
5) excellent visibility

My only real complaint was the ride quality. I thought it was a bit rattly..though that could be a byproduct of the tires. Oh - and there's no back up camera. I cannot believe how dependent on that I've become. The first time I went to go back up was like wait.. where do I look again?

Some have backup cameras! It was available from launch.

... in fact, I'm pretty sure they're legally mandated for new cars these days
