Default B-K Mounts for OEM Sliders

http://www.bkauto.com/R_9220_Seat_Mo...s_p/r-9220.htm

Anyone tried these out yet? Any feedback on how low you can get a fixed back seat to sit? I currently have a Planted mount and sliders and its way too high. I'd like to try these out but wont bother if they wont get me any lower.

Thanks!

Nick did a whole review on it and I just ordered some. Do a search here and in the track section, all your questions will be answered.

If you can get away without sliders, their direct to floor mounts will let you compress the carpet with your seat.

I was one of the first to have this kit, and my experience did not go smoothly. First, my kit was poorly packaged. One of the blister packs broke and good bit of hardware fell through the cracks of the packaging. Even the parts with the blister pack still intact had missing bolts and washers.
I had to re-drill and elongate some holes on the inboard sliders for both driver and passenger side, as the spacing for the mounts did not line up to the OE slider.
I also found that I needed about a 1/4" more in spacers(even if I had all of them in the first place) than provided for my seat to fit between the sliders. And btw, the sliders were supposed to be the correct ones for my Recaro Profis.
The instructions were a bit vague, especially when it came to the wiring. I ended up wiring it a different way, which made more sense to me.
However, when I got all those issues sorted out, it turned out well, and I'm happy with it overall.

Also, the seats can be mounted very low. In fact it was too low for me, so I had to mount it from the second highest position. Even at this position, I think it's a good inch lower than stock.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the info on fitment and your buying experience.

We have sold a ton of the BK mounts for the E46, E90, and F80 crowd!

The mounts for OE sliders has been an absolute hit of a product.

I see you're local to Chicago as well. Let us know if we can help you out.
