Default 06 vert 6 speed shifting problems

I had the car since new, recently had inspection 2 done with over 45k mostly trouble free miles. Recently, I am having problem shifting into reverse, and notice the problem to be more common when the car sits on uneven ground. IE, gravel road, or roads with pot holes. Called the dealer, and they thought this was common issue among 6 speeds. They suggested that I shift into first, then into reverse. I never had any issues until now, hoping someone on this board can shed some light. Oh, any good shops I can take it to in Beaverton OR? Thanks in advance.

WRONG FORUM buddy, but yes, you should do that on any manual car. On my M3 I actually have to row to 1st and 2nd before R. It's the most reluctant tranny to go into R I've ever owned. Plus the spring is ultra stiff. If it started doing that just recently, might be an indication you need to change the oil. When was the last time you did that? I'd start there. Good luck.
