Default 99.9 mpg on my e92 M3, she loves me!!

Nothing feels better this Holiday season than when you car gives you a great gift, like 99.9 mpg. Gosh, the M3 is just the car that keeps on giving. Don't believe me, check out this attachment...honest!

OK, so it's just a glitch

Just a hint for prospective e92 M3 buyers. Keep it simple, no iDrive, get the manual and make sure the gearbox doesn't slip.

Heh, my 08 E90 6MT did that. I was planning to have the service dept at the dealer look at it on the next scheduled service, but end of lease came first so it remained like that when the car was returned. Over time, that 99.99 mpg figure went down slowly, and it was at around 50-something when I returned the car (over about 6 months period?).

Just reset the mpg while coasting downhill and you should see 99.9 mpg.
