Default Vibration after idle with no codes. HELP!!

This is my newest e46m3. It is a 2003 smg slick top titanium silver cinnamon manual with 102k. Bought the car in dallas and drove it home 5 hours away. Unfortunately it was a torrential rain almost the entire time. Before i handed over the cash i scanned it after a 15 min test drive. It had no codes. While i was driving home it started to studder violently with out warning , this persisted for about 2 hours. I had stopped to get gas and check codes and there was 2 dme Signal air mas flow sensor. Second was dme heating for tank leak diagnoses module dmtl. While inwas driving i accidentally down shifted twice and and reved it pretty good and the studderimg stopped. Not sure why it helped but it did. I fixed the maf fault. The previouse owner to the po i bought it from installed a relocated intake temp sensor. They didnt solder the connections. Which i did. My son was sittimg in the car and the first thing he noted was the vibration off of idle. I jumped in my 02 vert 105k 6spd manual and it revs smooth as silk.
I changed the plugs even thou they were changed around 1k ago thinking maybe they were partially fouled. No change! I have read it.could be the harmonic balancer, and possibly motormounts. Motormounts were changed around 50k. I am not a parts changer trouble shooter and request the help from the experts. Please help as o am itching to.drive it but worried it might be detrimental. Thank you in advance. Btw this is my first post

The shuddering was intermittently. Like the car was dying infact it stalled at a stop light but started back up right away.

I’d check the idle air valve to make sure it moves freely. It can get filled with grime and stick closed.

Could have a rough idle if someone overtightened the nuts on the motor it trans mounts. But that wouldn’t explain the stalling.

Sounds like you need to check for leaks past the MAF sensor and/or replace the sensor. If there's a K&N filter or intake, trash it.

Will check the idle air valve. I forgot to mention i swapped my afe cai off my vert with the maf from the vert. Roughness persisted . It is only after idle pretty much through the rev range but it is hard to tell past 4k. Only code is the dtml.

I tried searching for leaks with the starter fluid method. I will look into the motor and trans mounts being to tight. Set them at factory torque specs. I think the studdering was caused by a bad connection and moisture for th crap job on the iat relocation harness.

I cant imagine it was flooded and only causing.the roughness afterseveral weeks. Would think it would have shorted aomething out and thrown a code. I am work will check later

No water or signs of water in the ebox. Really thinking it must either be the motormounts or harmonic balancer
