100% of these features are awesome.

Standard dubs. Nice .

Since you posted C&D's stats....

Our M3 arrived in July 2001 and quickly captivated the hotshoes in the office with its amazing acceleration and sure-footed handling. With 1940 miles on it, we took the M3 to the test track and measured a 0-to-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a standing quarter-mile of 13.1 seconds at 107 mph.

All seems meaningless though. How fast is the X3M? Unnecessarily fast. Perhaps detrimentally fast, given who will actually be driving these things.

Blah blah blah “too fast”. If it was any slower it would be “too slow”

This thing is awesome for the rest of us who aren’t fanatical purists and want ridiculous fun (sound, speed, responsiveness) in a convenient package to use for dropping kids off at daycare. Can it replace a sports car? No. But it’s a pretty awesome DD for me as a single dad in Minnesota. It’s fun as shit while being practical. I am not offended because I can still get a sports car too if I want that pure experience.

It’s funny that we act like only members of prestigious car forums are skilled/responsible enough to handle all this power.

I do agree that an M40i might be good enough, but if you can afford an X3 M, then why not?

But, Can it do a standing 4 wheel burnout?

That needs to be the next goal for the auto industry.

Wife's next car in ~3-4 years is likely going to be a used M40i (loves her '16 X3), but may have to check this out
