When some of you guys say no vibration, did you have vibration on the stock DS? if so how old or many miles are on the stock ones?

No vibration with stock or aftermarket. Car only have 56k with all poly bushings everwhere you can think of.

For this driveshaft, it looks like there's no U-Joint or CV joint on the transmission? Does the giubo take the stress of flexing down to the diff?

No vibrations in OEM driveshaft or the J-Fiber one. Solid for me.

I think ideally you would want the output of the trans pointed at the input to the diff. Not sure if the e46 M3 is set up that way I read somewhere where a giubo can take up to 2 degree of misalignment max but the more misalignment you have shorter the life of the giubo.

I had an issue when I first engine swapped my e30 and ate an e46 M3 giubo in like 5k miles, I had to lower the trans mounts to get the correct angle for the driveshaft. I stuck a laser pointer on the trans output until it was pointing where I needed it to. Anyone ever done that with an e46 M?

I have not but I know my diff sits alittle lower then OEM due to my Reinforcement Brackets. We are still using the stock Guibo and diff side still have a CV joint. Only thing we got rid of is the Center Support Bearing and U-joint.
