I finally got to drive my car with the J-Fiber driveshaft for a bit before it goes for respray. It is kinda hard to quantify my impressions as I got a lightened flywheel at the same time that the driveshaft went in. So I can't say which is really doing what. I will say however, that the car seems to shift smoother. Less of a "clunk" when you shift from one gear to the next. No vibration at highway speeds and the car I think is quieter. So far so good on my end. I have no regrets.

Now all that said, I wouldn't recommend it as someone's first or even second mod. It does make an improvement, but I think its a "cherry on top" type of thing. I think for most folks I would improve (assuming you have done all your maintenance) suspension first and then upgrade brake pads and lines.

Hopefully they are not cutting it open to make sure it does not contain contraband. I went through customs yesterday in an airport and they looked in my bag of Cuban coffee.

What is the expected drivetrain loss of the CF Driveshaft vs a stock Oem one.

Still no issues after a full day of tracking. Iím tracking tomorrow as well but i have no concerns about the driveshaft at this time.
If rev matching is done with the clutch disengaged, then the motor and trans/driveshaft are totally decoupled.

From this, how would a driveshaft affect rev matching?

Got my car back with the new ds today too and my first impressions are similar to what others have said. Heel-toeing and rev-matching is definitely easier/smoother and throttle response has a more direct feel to me. I wouldn't say the car feels particularly faster but it definitely feels better and shifting is more enjoyable. No noticeable increase in nvh - if anything it's quieter and smoother. Overall very happy with it.
