Default Fitment on the ECS 1 piece lip

I am trying to choose between the ECS 1 piece CSL lip for the M3 bumper or the JL Motoring one. The ECS one is $30 cheaper and I live close enough to avoid shipping making it about $100 cheaper. I would be willing to pay $100 more for a better fitting and looking piece, but if they are identical

This was when I ordered from ecs. Apparently everyone else's fit just fine. Ecs refunded me though.

I installed one for someone and the fitment was not good, like above.

Thanks guys, that fitment looks awful. Anyone have info on the JL motoring one?

I got mine from user name “carking” on eBay. Fitment was okay; it’s meant to distract from the lower bumper crack, courtesy of PO.

Happybuyitnow168 on ebay has some good ones. I got mine off ECS tuning as well which had some gaps but oh well.

I purchased a plain black one from happybuyitnow168 and the fitment was fine but the clear was terrible, absolutely terrible. Clear started peeling off in big flakes within a week or two. I stripped and refinished the lip and it looks much better. I refinish it every 6 to 8 months as it gets nicked up quickly. Perhaps the carbon fiber version, if it is indeed cleared, is better.
