Default TuningTech FS | SMG Software Upgrade

Transform your Sequential Manual Gearbox with the redesigned transmission software directly onto your DME, available both for naturally aspirated and force induction E46 M3's.

  • Eliminates transmission issues caused by changes in Limited Slip Differential ratio.
  • Faster and more firm shifts in higher gears.
  • Smoother shifts on lower gears.

You will receive our USB to OBD2 programming cable. The end user will need a Windows or Mac laptop to remote program the SMG software. The software has many more benefits to help the weekend warrior or the all around car guy. It allows you to clear DME adaptations, read and clear codes specific to your BMW, and data log your car. This is a nice perk for anyone looking to take advantage of remote tuning their car in the future, data extraction for track use, or all you data fanatics to record, replay, and compare.

$189 Shipped to lower 48 states.

I'd highly recommend getting the CSL SMG flash for anyone thinking about it. The whole process was pretty quick & painless, even for someone with no prior DME experience. Frank was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. I've only had it on my car for a week but you can notice the differences immediately. The shifts are brutally fast in S5/S6 (you get thrown back in your seat shifting in the higher RPM's!) and shifting in S3-4 is feels quicker than before. My favorite part though, hands down, is the downshifting.... it's incredibly smooth and sounds like heaven.

Question:
If I have the E**** tune with the SMG software, could I still purchase your SMG software and over ride the E**** SMG software but still maintain the E***** tune?

I think for the price and cable, it's cheap enough for me to compare your SMG software vs E****'s.

I have a similar question- I have the same tune sans SMG. Could I add this without disturbing the tune?

I don't think so, it's my understanding that Evolve's tunes are now locked, so you would have to take that up w/them. GL!

Then you can just add Evolve's SMG tune! Use the same Evolve-R cable.

Stash1 is correct, they are now locked. Wouldn't want any peeking going on that has happened in the past now would we

Just a general FYI guys, w/o giving away specific details, I can say w/about 99.99% certainty that the TTFS SMG tune encompasses quite a few more map changes than any current competitor.

Please share details. Interested to hear and compare.

Details in OP are about as standard as it gets. There's only so much one can do.
