Default Stock shocks vs koni/bil

I'm out here in Hawaii so shipping sucks. There are very low miles stock shocks on Craiglist right now. Sub 1k miles low. Are the koni/bil much better than the stock shocks or not?

For daily driving, no. Billys (B6, not B4) probably would be worse (harsher) to you if luxury/comfort are paramount. Konis are pretty good.

What springs will you be running? If you're keeping things pretty stock, I would just get the set of Sachs and be done. The robust billys aren't needed and the adjustment with the konis isn't needed.

For an otherwise stock suspension, Koni Yellows are effectively a no-compromise upgrade for comfort.

I have Bilstein B6 dampers paired with OEM springs, I couldn't be happier with the way the car rides.
