Default VMR VB3 touch-up paint

Hey guys

So once again I have put a nick in one of my Gunmetal CSL Reps and I refuse to replace another one as I did in the front of my car a couple months ago. While I love the rims and the product I just seem to be having bad luck and chipping them.

Anyone know of any kind of paint touchup marker that works well or the paint code on the rim so that I can attempt to get this resolved?

The guys at VMR told me they are working on making a touch up paint line for all their finishes. maybe one of them could chime in

That would an excellent idea however even the paint code would be helpful!

Yeah there is no tire in front of the rim to provide protection because of the shape so find them to be prone to curbrash and other damage due to road conditions.

My car is A08 Silver Gray, I've been using my OEM touch up paint on my gunmetal VB3's. It's not an exact match, but better than the light colored exposed primer in the chips. I think OEM Steel Gray touch up paint may be a closer match??

So there are others out there with VMRs that seem to have problems with chipping.. I was wondering about this when I noticed chipping after less than a month of having them on

It's coming soon for standard finishes, including our exclusive Gunmetal and Matte Black finishes - We'll be making an announcement as soon as it's available.
