Default Is 20k a realistic price for my ideal E46 M3

I'm looking to buy an E46 M3. I have a specific spec of car in mind is 20k realistic for this.

Any blue
Black interior
Manual
Under 100k miles
Good condition
Clean title
Mods ok

You can def find something with your spec for that price. Question is, when is one going to come by (hopefully you have time, it's a time consuming process) and it might not be local, so you have to be open to travel.

Yes, but that's just the purchase. You gotta keep in mind tax, $2k, and keep in mind that any m3 under about $25k is going to need some work, so bet on another $2-$5k.

There are some real deals out there. Don't be scared of cars in the 100k+ range either unless you really care about the mileage for resale or an arbitrary reason. There are, for example, 140k m3s that are in great shape and that just had $5-10k dumped into them in preventative maintenance (like I did to mine).

I have a 2004 mystic blue on black with 80k. It has a reinforced subframe and I recently went through the entire car replacing everything that needed to be done. I would want 23k for it. So based on your needs, itís probably worth it to pay a little bit more to get a car that wonít need much maintenance in the future.
