Default Anotha one! (DJ Khaled Voice) - 02 LSB Journal

Let the laughs and I told you so's begin! I just couldn't stay away.

I got a phone call on last Friday from Dan ( X M3P0W3R X ) about this LSB that needed some love... I negotiated an amazing deal with PO and picked it up on Monday, 7/11/2016. Thanks to Dan for lending me his awesome Silverado HD to pick up this bad boy and Thanks to Bobby - (M3ONRAILS) and Stevie - (Nukin Futz) for helping get this bad boy on the trailer and bringing it home!

I present to you guys, my 5th e46 m3!

2002 - LSB /Black - 6MT - HK - Sunroof - 86k miles

A little history on the car:

Purchased the car from a local guy who didn't really do any maintenance. Kinda just drove the car. It was a florida car until 62k miles and then came up here to NY when purchased by the P.O.

The car has a few mods: (Updated 11/30/16)
-SGT SCZA Muffler w/ Burnt TI tips
-FabSpeed Headers
-CPI Section 1 w/ 400 Cell cats
-SGT Pre-preg CF CSL diffuser
-Black Gills/Grills
-Volk TE37SL 18x9.5+22 & 18x10.5+20
-Black corner lights
-Umitzia angel eyes
-BMW Performance shift knob
-Coby wrapped wheel
-Coby matching shift boot
-Coby matching ebrake boot
-AKG 75a subframe bushings
-AKG 75a Diff Bushings
-AKG Shifter Bushing
-Rogue Engineering 95a Front Diff Mount
-Dinan SSK
-UUC Transmission Mounts
-Rogue Engineering RTABS
-Ground Control Street/ School Coilovers 600/550
-Ground Control Camber plates
-Rogue Engineering Front Strut Bar
-TMS Subframe Reinforcement Kit
-E9x Engine Mounts
-Pioneer Navigation system with back up camera
-WPC Rodbearings (Pending install)
-Beisan Systems Complete S54 Vanos Kit
-Macht Schnell Elbow
-Macht Schnell Intake Filter
-ECS SS brake lines
-Bimmerworld Brass caliper guides
-SPC adjustable rear lower control arms

Nothing major has really been addressed with this car, no vanos, no subframe, nothing.. just the recall for the rod bearings were done at 59k miles. Previous owner seemed to just drive the car and do the basics. So now, I will try to bring this gem back to life!

Already ordered a ton of parts! All of these parts were changed at 86k miles

-LuK 03-054 Clutch kit (along with all support parts, pivot pin, clutch fork etc.)
-OEM Guibo
-OEM CSB
-E9x Engine Mounts
-UUC Trans Mounts
-TMS Subframe Reinforcement Kit
-AKG Diff Bushings
-OEM Jack Pads (for some reason car was missing 3 of them)
-Passenger side window switch
-Stainless Steel Clutch line
-ALL new fluids
-SS brake lines
-OEM replacement rotors/pads/sensors

Car also needed some new trim under the rear 1/4 panel windows so ordered those as well.

My plans with this one is to just drive it!! I reallllly want to get this one on the track and ready to go.

Here are some pics

(Took bumper off to trailer it home)

Stopped at the carwash to rinse her off.. "M3onRails" Spotted in picture (she was sitting in the garage for a few weeks before we picked it up so she was covered in dust)

Took some time the next morning and got her pretty clean, did a wash, clay and wax, pulled off some old, peeling tint as well as some sagging pillar fabric.

(removed shift knob for cleaning)

Then.. the mod bug bit and it began with a low mileage set of TCKline DA 550/600.

While taking the car apart, i came across the MOST GHETTO RIGGED exhaust system i've ever seen.. Idk who thought this would work but it literally fell apart as I took it off, I had to take a picture..

Started to drop everything I needed to do the clutch and on a little lunch break, decided to clean some stuff.. one being the panel underneath. Came out pretty mint!

Here's how I left her tonight.. 2 more bolts left to drop the trans. Needed to go see Bobby (M3OnRails) for some snap on tools! He's definitely the go-to snap on guy!

I have a list of things planned for this bad boy! I'm super excited to get behind the wheel of this thing.

C & C always welcome!

congrats on the purchase! Nice to see LSB with black interior and not dove (bleh)

And I'm curious, do you buy cars with intention to resell or do you buy cars thinking "this is the one"? Haha you go through these cars so fast!

Haha thanks man!

It really depends.. I only buy a car if I get it for the right price. Luckily the market for these cars is awesome so if I ever need to free up cash quickly I just sell.. Kind what happened the past 2 times lol

I never buy a car and say this is the one because money talks. I've learned to never get attached to a particular car lol

Looks great, and I'm sure you got a good deal. I like that your intentions for this one are a little bit different from the last one.

The next owner will surely inherit a great car!
