Default stripped fcab lolipop

One of the M10 bolts holding the Front Control Arm lolilop to the chassis stripped. Is there enough material behind there to use helicoil ??

I don't remember very precisely (it's been years) but I did use a timesert on one of the control arm bracket holes once and it worked out fine.

Please report back if this works. One of mine is partially damaged and will need repaired the next time the FCAB is removed.

Is it a 1.5 or 1.25 mm thread ??

Edit: 1.5mm thread. Helicoil to the rescue !!

Ever get this figured out? My CAB mount (lollipop) bolt just sheared off in the chassis. Can I helicoil or timesert this to fix it?
