The radio harness is separate from the main harness.

You have to remove the entire interior, heater core, head lights and bumper. Once you do that...4 hours max?

I didn't know that! That's excellent news for the effort required for my project!

And chance you weighted the stereo harness?

Found it.

Looks like the stereo harness is 8.4 lbs. Excellent

Screwing with the radio harness alone is definitely easier. The most annoying thing is trying to get the front carpet out without permanently screwing it up (if you're trying to be precise about it)... otherwise two cuts with a box cutter and she's out.

Be mindful not to remove your antenna module harness on accident, or you might discover keyless entry no longer works

Can't think of any chassis features I'm not retaining, so seems like the stereo harness is all I should be removing for my project (I'm assuming the stereo harness includes the CD changes/bluetooth/nav/etc wiring-- though now realize that might not be true...)

Same, I didn't know that. In that case I might pop off the dash again and remove just the stereo harness for now.

IIRC, the only place it connects into the main harness behind the HVAC controls. Itís a plug that just disconnects.

The front speaker wires run down the trans hump, under carpet right towards the door on both sides. You might need to pull up the carpet in the foot wells. Donít think you need to remove the front section.

i had my shop remove it when they pulled the motor. I was billed for 2.5hrs (dunno how long it actually took though..I give them alot of work :-)

I am absolutely going to do a write up of the service when it's done. I'm using the guy you reference (Kevin tulay).
