I would never do that, I almost didnt go the rear trunk ///M badge but I figured it was ok as long as I didnt put the M3.. i wanted to retain the feel of cars like the 1M or Mcoupe where thye just have the ///M badge only Quote:
its perforated leather and a carbon fiber leather material that has a Cf pattern. it has also had the thickness increased as well with more padding so it feels really thick and nice. |

Nice car! Natural brown is far and away my favorite non M interior color option.
As a fellow converted e46 owner (my DD is an M3 wagon), do all the subframes and suspension bits-- it makes as big of a difference to handling as the engine does to power (if you haven't already-- not clear from the way it was written out). That'll also let you recode the MK60 for the ZCP steering rack, as the ZHP rack has the ZCP rate when installed in M3 suspension geometry. Hopefully your custom mid pipe keeps the stock M3 crossover location, as that's critical for not massively gutting torque on the s54. Were it me, I'd go back to stock M3 engine/trans/diff mounts ASAP. The AKG units add a ton of NHV with pretty negligible gains in return. And raise it to a functional ride height :P

the only thing I needed were ABS sensors from an automatic e46 to make the M3 suspension/hub swap plug and play. |

I really want to go to a Alcantara interior but just waiting on a good deal. here is a pic of my exhaust setup from under neath. it is a lot more clean now that its all done and i have the proper M3 under tray now not the NON M one. ![]() Pictures of my rear 3rd section that show how it goes inside my rear bumper support so I didnt have to cut out my rear spare tire floor pan. ![]() ![]() |

That looks like a solid solution! I considered that, but ultimately went a different route because I wanted to be able to do headers (and put the cats in the section 1):
