I guess body panels are very low wear items, yes. But given time, it will develop a patina, and eventually the weather will , well, weather it down.

So yeah its a wear item, albeit a very slow one. it will still wear if left to the elements.

Honestly i thought you guys would have said the side windows. Glass will last pretty much forever, and they are a car part.
