I definitely agree with you. The M2 is not the prettiest of cars.

Anyways....me being the idiot that I am, I am currently floating on the market.

M2 isn't the prettiest car, but looks much better than the flabby rounded M4 to my eyes.

Will they let you get individual paint for the M2 now or is the car too exotic and special still?

My dealer is not charging me a mark up.

He will be calling me tomorrow with the details. I will ask him about the individual if it's available? I more than likely will be putting a deposit on one tomorrow but nothing is final.

But, I don't like the wheels that come with the current M2C. He said I could change them to the 763M wheels with no problem.

I would like a real silver instead of that pastel silver.

It's funny, I should be excited but I'm not.

I'd probably me more excited if I was picking up a clean low mileage E46 M3.

Funny how life works.

You know, when the e46 first came out the styling was hailed as an instant classic. Not sure how many of us were interested in BMWís back then, but it was a ground breaking car for itís time, both in looks and performance.

Iíve been told the performance is great, however, itís possibly over shadowed by how competitive the competition is now vs back in the early 2000ís.

I still get excited driving and walking up to the e46 even after 12 years of ownership.

Does the m2 drive that well? I see youíre local to LA, would love to check the car out before you turn it back in! Youíd be welcome to see what a tastefully modified e46 m3 is about in 2018, too.

And I canít see enjoying the E46 or M2 much in GA. Or any part of the southern states. Thereís mainly flat swamp roads everywhere. If you prefer European, Iíd imagine an AMG model would be more exciting, or even the f80, as itís all highway power.
