I put a blanket under the tires, to not mar the interior, and run the seat belts through them, to not endanger myself. With 250 lbs of cargo, it's like driving around with another passenger or two-- not ruinous to the driving experience.
But I keep reading on here that the convertibles are garbage due to the extra weight, so confusing!

My car with 250 lbs of cargo is lighter than a stock coupe

... and the loss of chassis stiffness is more significant to the vert's compromised dynamics than the weight, imo.

And... temporary weight (loaded up coupe) vs starting point (vert)

I see where you're coming from. Florida does seem a bit slow it's ways. And would have to agree with you regarding the humidity in Florida for half of the year. Maybe Arizona it is lol

Plus, Cali is broke. I keep getting weird commercials with strange hipsters promoting California. Makes makes the answer easy for me.

Florida> California

How is Cali broke? It's the 6th largest economy in the world. We also do 3x the GDP of Florida. 🤷🏻*♂️

Broke? Or broken. Cali is definitely not broke, we're a donor state (pay more to the Fed's than we get back) and we have a surplus.

It's true you can't buy a single family home in the bay area for less than $700k, and that will be a 2br.

Ok Iím definitely working with old info here. Looks like the state has turned it around quite a bit. Well done California!

Florida has half the population and is full of tons of old people. GDP is not a great metric for Floridaís wealth and prosperity IMO

People forget too there is more to California than the Bay area. Orange county and San Diego are very nice if you can find a good job there.
